The band competed on Saturday 7th September at the 167th annual British Open Brass Band Championships held at the Birmingham Symphony Hall. The band had a mixed evening of results at the recent Whit Friday March Competitions held on Friday 14th June, 2019 in the Tameside and Saddleworth areas of Greater Manchester. However we were extremely proud of a couple of these results with an overall 3rd place (out of 44 bands) awarded at the Dukinfield Albion and a 2nd place overall (out of 39 bands) at the competition held at the Stalybridge Labour Club.… Read the rest
